Here’s my second location I’ve been to when I was in Phnom Penh. First location was obviously at my grand parent’s place but to be honest I didn’t have internet to work there and each time I’ve been bite by mosquitos and I became crazy ahah. Also I wanted to be relax and go to the swimming pool because it was too hot in Phnom Penh. So I decided to go to the Diamond Palace Resort Hotel during 3 nights. When you know that’s the price of one night in Paris, you just say ok, I’m not often in Cambodia and I work… So I just wanted to be relaaaxxxxx in a lovely hotel with a swimming pool !
During my stay, I had nice breakfasts with my grandma who loves omelette and also they proposed croissants, bread, cereals… Well european food. We also had someone who cooks if we wanted something special to eat. And also, I always order iced coffee which is so good 🙂
You can see the cosy room where I’ve slept. I really like the interior design which reminds oriental vibes. I also take the bath option with a view of Phnom Penh. But to be honest, you don’t need it because you already have a nice swimming pool at the rooftop ! The rooftop have also a bar where you can order some beers or cocktails but mine pina colado wasn’t that good (save your money ahah).
Well, it was a nice hotel near to the Independence Monument where you can find some good places to eat and also some bars. I spent really nice nights there so yes I will recommend you that hotel.
By the way, my grandma took great pictures of me wearing my triangl swimwear. What do you think about her talent ? ahah
The next post, I’m going to talk about the National Museum 🙂
