I’m back to show you The Royal Palace in Phnom Penh built in the 1860 where the kings used to live. I don’t have so much to say but I really like the khmer architecture of the buildings and also the gardener.
Phnom Penh is no the best place to spend time a lot of time in Cambodia but as I know it’s good to pass by first because of the Genocide Museum before to visit the country. The royal palace is beautiful and it’s interesting to discover where the kings based in the capital and to check out the khmer architectural. Well, as you know Phnom Penh is still in a development which some people won’t like it that much. But don’t forget, if you want to spent a good time in Phnom Penh, eat somewhere which there are street food (cheap and really good) and have fun at the french district where you can meet a lot of backpackers around the world.
My next destination will be in Siem Riep in the north of Cambodia to discover again Ankgor Wat 🙂
